WHEREAS, Richard D. Junkins, the owner of the following described parcel of real property, has requested and petitioned the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annex the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City; and WHEREAS, said fee simple owner has filed his ~ Petitions and Consents with the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee and Section 171.044, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question of annexation of said parcel of real property not less than 10 days and not more than 60 days from the date of the filing of such petition with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Oco~e, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby find and determine that said property is in an unincorporated area of Orange County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida and is compact; NOItJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: ,.:\,",' 7=~.,.'._':~:f._'::"..~l,:1~, 'r" . . ..- "- c,' 'j ',:~ns.:: CD/: :LL.= l.C;~iC:. Junkins, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same hereby is incorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida: . E 110' of SW~ of SW~ of SW~ less Rt50 rt of way on the south, Sec. 20 Township 22S, Range 28E, Orange County, Florida Section 2. That the City of Ocoee, Florida, shall have all the power, authority, and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1 hereof, and of the inhabitants thereof, and the property therein, as it does have over its presen corporate linlits, and all the laws, ordinances and resolutions of the said City shall apply and have equal force and effect as if all the territory had been a part of the City at the time of passage of such laws, ordinances and resolutions. Notice is hereby given pursuant to Florida Statute Section 166.041 that the City Commission of Ocoee, Florida, will at the regular meeting to be held at 7:30 P. M., 19 July 77, at the City Hall, City of Ocoee, Florida, consider the adoption of two ordinances entitled: An ordinance relating to the zoning of land annexed into the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; making findings of fact; establishing the zoning classification of such property; and providing an effective date. The legal descriptions of the properties are as follows: To be zoned RIA.
