ORDINANCE NO.
63~
CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA;
MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE
PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED; INCORPORATING
SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Joel F. Hall, the owner of the following
described parcel of real property, has requested and petitioned
the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annex the same in and to the
municipal boundaries of said City; and
WHEREAS, said owner has filed his Petition and
Consent with the City Commission as provided by Article 1,
Section 6.1, of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee, Florida;
and

WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1,
Section 6.1, was held on the question of annexation of said
parcel of real property after due public notice thereof published
not less than 10 days and not more than 30 days prior to said
public hearing; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, has made an independent examination of the said property
and determined, and does hereby find, that the area involved
qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in the best
interests of the City of Ocoee, Florida, that such area should be
annexed to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the
City of Ocoee, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, does hereby find and determine that said property is
contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, and is compact;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE,
FLORIDA:

Section 1. That the following described parcel of
real property owned by Joel F. Hall, located in Orange County,
Florida, be and the same hereby is incorporated into and made
part of the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida:
N 8 acres of NW ~ of NW ~
Section 17, Township 22S,
Range 28E.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage by the City Commission of the City of
Ocoee, Florida.
