J CITY OF OCOEE.~IDA AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA; MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED; INCORPORATING SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Edna S. Carter, the owner of the following described parcel of real property, has requested and petitioned the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annex the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City; and WHEREAS, said fee simple owner' has' filed her Petitions and Consents with the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee; ,..._.,-;~ l:\. "'"ii' _""'9 ...l~ - arf9E CD:: FLlI and "1C~D'1: j,4am WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, was held on the question of annexation of said parcel of real property after due public notice thereof published not less than 10 days and not more than 30 days prior to said public hearing; and OR 4 2 7 5 PG 4 8 5 2 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby find and determine that said property is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the following described parcel of real property owned by Edna S. Carter, 909 Lakeshore Drive, Ocoee, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same hereby is incorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida: . . / Begin 30 feet south and 210 feet west of the NE corner of NW \ of SE \ Sec. 17, Tp. 22 S Rg 28 E run thence west 60 feet, south 125 feet, east 60 feet, north to point of beginning. Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage by the City Commission of the City of Ocoee. ENACTED THIS 6th DAY OF JANUARY , 1976. .
