MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
JANAURY 18, 1966
Present: Councilwoman Hager, Councilmen: Pounds, Patterson,
Mayor: Howell and Bracewell
Absent: Councilman Miller

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Pounqs at 6:35 P.M.
and presided over the meeting until Councilwoman Hager arrived.
The minutes of the last regular, meebing held January 4, 1966 and
the special meeting held January 11, 1966 were read and approved.
Mr. John Wellman was present to discuss with the council the
increase in his water bill at the Lake Drive Trailer Park. He had
rates from other Cities to compare with Ocoee. The Council were
to discuss this matter and let him know thier discision.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to pay the bills that are in order.
Councilman Bracewell seconded the motion. Voted and carried.

Mr. Longley a representative of Blue Cross- Blue Shield was
present to discuss with the council group insurance for City
~mployees and officials. He gave an approximate figure of
~1,418.00 per year or $20.00 per family. No action was taken.
Councilwoman Hager suggested we take a survey of all City employees
to see haw many have their own insurance.
The conncil decided to have the new garbage truck painted white.
Councilman Bracewell was given permission the select the best and
lowest bid on the nesurfacing the ~treets; and building the sidewalks
on McKey St.
There being no futher business Councilman Pounds made a motion to
adjourn this meeting. Councilman Bracewell seconded the motion.
Thereupon Council adjourned at 7:35 P.M.
