COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
SEPTBE~rnER 24, 1966
Present: Councilwoman Hager, Councilmen: Patterson, Pound~,
Hayor Howell r<iller & Bracewell
Absent: None
Tne meeting was called to order by Councilwoman Hager at 12:10 P.M.
The purpose of the meeting was to employ a new patrolman to fill
our vacancy.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to hire Fred Daughtry, on the
r-Tavor's recommendation, at $300.00 for three months. Council-
man Miller seconded the motion. Councilmen Pounds, Patterson,
rJij ller and Bracewell voted YES. No Nons. Carried unanimously.

C01mcilman Pounds made a recommendation to give Councilman
Bracewell permission to let Sam Oliver build the City an edger.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to sponsor the Full Pint Football
Team and underwrite the program in the amount of $1,000.00, pro-
viding we receive a fair share of the proceeds back at the end
cf the season. Councilman Miller seconded the motion. Councilmen
Pa:mds, IJIiller and Patterson voted YES. Councilman Bracewell
refrained from voting. Motion was carried.

to adjourn this meeting. Councilman Ydller seconded the motion.
Thereupon Council adjourned at 1:00 P.M.
