Douglas Parrish, representative of Motorola Inc., was present to discuss placing the Police Department and Fire Department on separate radio bands. Mr. Parrish will make an estimate and report to a special meeting With Police "Chief Turner, Fire Chief Vandergrift Dispatchers and COITm. of their departments. Comm. ,Reese reported the plumbing in house of Kissimmee Avenue, owned by the city, was not working and that more dain field was needed, and that he had taken care of this. Corrm. ,Vandergrift motioned the city pay Noble Riner for 12 days sick leave. Cornm Reese.seconded. No No's. Motion carried. I Comm. Reese suggested the city do something about the green moss in Starke Lake .\.' " Council ask the city clerk to write a letter to the fresh water game and fish com~ssioners to see if they could or would do soemthing about this matter. I Council agreed to accept anwendrnents to Souther Standard Building Code. Corom. Reese motioned the city guarantee Neal Dickens, Bldg. Inspector, $250.00 per month and gasoline not to exceed 15 gals per week, with the stipulation that 11r. Dickens not accept the offer made by Windermere Council. Comm. Stinnett seconded the motion. No No's. Motion carried. Mayor Vdnor read petition to annex property owned by Frank Roper. Comm. Vandergrift motioned to turn this petition over" to the city attorney, with intent to annex the said 20 1/2 acres owned by Frank Roper. Comm. Reese seconded the motion. No No's. Motion carried. Comm. Reese as~ed the council~0 to extend water line to a 25 acre site just north of the- city limits on Clarcona Road becently annexed into the city, to meet the schedule of the developer of this property. Council agreed. ( at a cost of approx $1,600) Mr. Crawford, Kanager of Ocoee Gulf Station, asked the city to condemn his place of business or move a fire hydrant this is the the way of the grease rack. Council to lookjinto this. There being no further business. seconded. Thereup on meeting of Comm. Vdller motioned meeting adjourn. Comm. Reese the council adjourned at 9:15-P.
