Mr. Ben Griffin asked the Commissioners about extending the Silver
Star Road West to body shop and South to Winter Garden Road approx.
l200_feet. Comm. Stinnett made a motion to table this discussion
until the next regular meeting. Comm. Whitehead seconded the
motion. Comm. Stinnett, Whitehead, Farmer, and Miller voted YES.
No NO'S. Carried unanimously.
A representative from ~tid-State Land Company, Real Estate Brokers,
was present to explain about the houses being built in Peach Lake
Manor Unit #4. Mr. McNurney, builder of the homes was also present
and was informed that he would have to present his plans to the
Commission for approval before permits were issued.
~rr. James L. Holloway and Mr. Jack Demetree left plans for approval
and permits to be issued for 10 homes in Peach Lake Manor Unit #4.
Comm. Miller made a motion to hire Mr. Elmer Holtzclaw as building
inspector for the City of Ocoee, at $250.00 per month and 10 gallons
of gas per week. Comm. Farmer seconded the motion. Cornm. Miller,
Stinnett, Farmer and Whitehead voted YES. No NO'S. Carried
unanimously.
Comm. Farmer made a motion to appoint Comm. Stinnett as chairman
of Building Department. Comm. giller seconded the motion. Comm.
Farmer, Miller and Whitehead voted YES. No NO'S. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Comm. Miller made a motion to
adjourn this meeting. Comm. Stinnett seconded the motion. There-
upon Council adjourned at 8:45 P.M.

MINUTES OF THE SPEICLA l\1EETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
MARCH 31, 1970
Present: Mayor Fox; Comm. Stinnett, Farmer, Whitehead and Miller.
Absent: None
The purpose of the meeting was to meet with builders, James L.
Holloway and Jack Demetree about building houses in Peach Lake
Manor Unit #4.
Comm. Stinnett made a motion to approve the plans and issue per-
mits for the homes they applied for. Comm. Miller seconded the
motion. Comm. Stinnett, Miller, Whitehead and Farmer voted YES.
No NO'S. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Comm. Miller made a motion to
adjourn this meeting. Comm. Stinnett seconded the motion. There-
upon Council adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
