Comm. Turner made a motion to accept the second reading and
adopt Ordinance #522 being an ordinance of the City of Ocoee,
Florida declaring that swimming in Lake Moxie is unsafe and
prohibiting swimming in Lake Moxie. Comm. Carter seconded
the motion. Comm. Crawford, Turner, Carter and Whitehead
voted YES. No NO'S. Carried unanimously.
The second reading of the ordinance raising residential garbage
fees to $3.00 and oommercial fees to $5.00 was presentedand Comm.
Turner made a motion not to accept this ordinance. Comm. White-
head seconded the motion. Comm. Crawford, Turner, and \ihitehead
voted YES. Comm. Carter voted NO. Motion was carried.

The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Fox at 7:20 P.M.

Comm. Crawford stated a house was to be built on the dirt 'portion
of Apricot Drive in Ocoee Hills. The Ve~ans Administration wants
a letter from the City of Ocoee stating we will maintain the
graded road that now exists. The Comm. agreed to write the I
necessary letter the V~A. needs. The owner of the property
is to give the City a letter that they will pay their part of
paving when the street is paved.

Comm. Carter stated the building inspector was not doing his
job as he should. He stated he was not being present when the
foundations of the buildings were being poured. Comm. Whitehead
was to talk to him about this.
There being no further business Comm. Crawford made a motion to
adjourn this meeting. Comm. Carter seconded the motion. There-
upon Comm. adjourned at $:05 P.M.
