STINNETT. 1&2. meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. with the pledge of allegiance. Minutes of the Feb. 17th meeting were read. Comm. Crawford moved to accent minutes as read, seconded by Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous. Minutes of a Special Meeting held Feb. 19th were read. Motion to accept was made by Comm.Crawford, seconded by Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous. III a. City Manager explained that council approval was necessary to abolish the Cemetery Fund and deposit all those funds into the General Fund as recommended by the City Auditor. Comm. Whitehead moved to abolish the Cemetery Fund and deposit all monies from the Cemetery Fund into the General Fund, seconded by Comm. Crawford. Unanimous. III b. City Manager further explained that council action was needed to establish a Cemetery Department and place it under the General Fund. Comm. Crawford moved to establish a Cemetery Department under the General Fund, seconded by Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous. IV a. James Cothern - Little League: Mr.Cothern was not present. IV b. SR 43S/1ST AVE.: Water Main Installation Charges: City Manager explained the city was ready to send out bills for the aforementioned water line and the charges would be as follows: $3,000.00 cost Df line (to be billed as $1,000.00 each for Edna Carter, Carl Carter and Robert Lyle) 3250.00 per water meter and $20.00 each for distribution line. I V a. City Manager explained that persons in precinct 36 and 36A would be voting at the YDuth Center in the Primary Election tD be held March 9th. V b. A Public Hearing is to be held before the Zoning Board on March 4th tD determine if Richard Gardner of R&L Market can place a trailer tD live in behind his Dlace of business on Hwy 50. V c. Tennis Court Metering: Hurst Electric, 2 meters, 2 lighting,cDntractDr installed price $350.00. Council decided not to meter lights at this time. V d. Comm. Whitehead approved payment to JWJ, INC. $3,659.17 from Revenue Fund acct#1326, secDnded by Comm. Crawford. UnanimDus. Comm. Crawford stated that on June 17, 1975, Stephen Rew came before council requesting additional time to construct a house and continue to live in his mobile home until said hDuse was built, at this time Mr. Rew was given 30 days to obtain a 120 day building permit. Comm.Crawford further stated that in July of 1975, Mr. Rew did obtain his permit but as of today he had not started construction on a house or taken any steps to convert his mobile home to a permanent structure. After much discussion council instructed the City Manager to send Mr. Rewa registered letter informing him to remove his mobile home within 30 days. The City Manager thanked council for their help during his recent illness. Sam Holland came before council requesting relief from the high cost of city occupational license for real estate agents. After much discussion the City Manager was instructed to check with the surrounding cities on their cost of occupational license for real estate agents.
