HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-22-1977 SS I I I MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE OCOEE CITY COMMISSION HELD 22 AUGUST 77 Mayor Breeze called the Special Meeting to order at 7:37 P.M. and explained that this Special Meeting was called to review the publics' recommendation for the usage of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds and to show the relationship of these funds to the operating budget. Present were Comm. Crawford, Lyle, Stinnett and Whitehead; City Manager, Vignetti; City Attorney, Rhodes; and City Clerk, Gann. City Manager explained that after due publication the required Public Hearing was held on 15 August 77 for inputs from citizens for the usage of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds. No one attended this meeting and $72,000 in Federal Revenue Sharing Funds must be allocated tonight. Comm. Crawford suggested using the funds as far as they would go for sidewalks on the north side of Silver Star Road. Comm. Whitehead moved to accept Comm. Crawfords suggestion, seconded Comm. Lyle.
