AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE
MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE. FLORIDA
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section One: That the following described parcel of real property. situated
in Orange County. Florida. to- wit:

The existing right-of-way of State Road No. 50 from the intersection
of State Road No. 438 at Minorville. Easterly to Good Homes Road.
lying within 75 feet either side of a center line survey described as
follows:
Begin at the intersection of the center line of State Road No. 50 and
State Road No. 438 at Minorville. said point being on the South line
of Section 20. Township 22 South. Range 28 East. run thence Due
East along the center line of said State Road No. 50 a distance of
10.619.88 feet to the intersection of Good Homes Road.
be. and. subject to the terms of this Ordinance. hereby is. incorporated into and
made a part of the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee. Florida.
Section 2: That the City of Ocoee Florida. shall have all of the power.
authority. and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1 hereof.
and of the inhabitants thereof. and property therein. as it does have over its
present corporate limits. and all the laws. ordinances. and resolutions of said
City shall apply and shall have equal force and effect as if all the territory had
been a part of said City at the time of the passage of such laws. ordinances and
resolutions.
Section 3: That the real property. above described. shall not at any time be
liable for. nor taxed. to pay a(ny bond of indebtedness of said City to which said
City may now be subject by virtue of said bonded indebtedness having existed at
the time of the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective upon being approved by a
. majority of the votes that may be cast by the qualified voters of the City of Ocoee.
Florida. and by the residents and qualified voters of the territory herein sought
to be annexed at an election to be held on the 29th
day of Sp.ptBmhp.r
1971. commencing at the hours of 7:00 o'clock A. M. and continuing until the hour
of 7 :00 0' clock P. M.

Section 5: For the purpose of holding such election. the Clerk of the City
of Ocoee. Florida. shall maintain the registration books of the said City for the
registration of all qualified voters of the City of Ocoee. and shall also maintain
a separate registration book for the registration of all qualified voters residing in
the territory sought to be annexed. The place of registration shall be the City
Hall of the City of Ocoee. Florida. Each of said registration books shall be open
. commencing on the first regular day of business following the passage of this
Ordinance and on each regular day of business thereafter. during the business
hours of the City offices. until the 19th day of ::>eptember
. 1971. on
which day the said registration books shall be closed. The qualfications for
voters from the territory sought to be annexed shall be set forth in Article I.
Section 6 (2) and Article VII. Section 2 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Florida.
which is Chapter 69-1359. Special Acts. Laws of Florida 1969.
Section 6: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 7: Should any portion of this Ordinance he held invalid. then such
portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect.
