ORDINnNCE NO. ..ff-P..L_ ";'1N Ol.DINi;NCE OF THE CITY uF OCOEE, FLORIDl" ANNEXING 1\ CERTAIN TR1-\CT OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE NUNICIPi-\L BOUl\T})..:.u(IES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE A,ND SITLJAT;:D IN OlZ,ANGE COUNTY, FLORID..:~, TO-hIlT: The NE-z; of the SE.:z; lying westerly of the Seaboard- Coastline I\.ai1raod and northeasterly of the Naguire ~oad extension, less: Begin at the SE Corner of the NEt of the SE;4, run N 89023' 12" ~J, along the 40 acre line, a distance of 183.20 feet to the northerly R/H line of 1.laguire Road thence from a tangent bear- ing of N 51006'4111 W, run northwesterly, along the arc of a curve concave to the S.W., having a radius of 468.73 feet, an arc distance of 131.30 feet, to the P.T., thence N 67009'4111 U 166.55 feet to the centerline of a ditch, thence along said center- line N 75045'49" E 343.30 feet, then N 50033'19" E 93.24 feet to the westerly I~ri of the Seaboard- Coastline Railroad, thence S 35038'41" E along said ~/W a distance of 76.27 feet to the east line of said Section 19, thence S 0002'34.11 H 211.45 feet to the point of beginning; subject to k/~ for Story Road and the Ocoee-Beulah Road, all being in Section 19 T22S R28E and consisting of 20.50 acres more or less, not including R/u. '...J1-IEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to tbe municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and h1iEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered vo'ters, and \lHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits ot the City of Ocoee, and i.JHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 27th day of Hay, 1969, duly adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described herein- above to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the pro- v~s~ons therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and WHID~EAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and mmhEAS, no objection to saia annexation has been filed in the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following describe land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the nmnicipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows: THE l~~ of the SE~ lying westerly of the Seaboard- Coastline Railroad and northeasterly of the Maguire Road extension, less: Begin at the SE corner of the NE;4 of the SE;4, run N 39023 '12" \,], along the 40 acre line, a distance of 183.20 feet to the northerly " .. ._;...c, ..(. d..t;:. /,i ... Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with theCharter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special ~cts Florida Legislature, 1925 and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over other lands within its municipal limits. " 'I' . Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming a law. Section 5. ~ll ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect.
