AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA TO
ANNEX A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE
MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TO-WIT:

The NE~ of the SE~ lying westerly of the Seaboard-
Coastline Railroad and northeasterly of the Maguire
Road extension, less: begin at the SE corner of the
NEt of the SE~, run N 89023'12" W, along the 40 acre
line, a distance of 183.20 feet to the northerly
R/W line of Maguire Road thence from a tangent bear-
ing of N 51006'41" W run northwesterly, along the
arc of a curve concave to the S.W., having a radius
of 468.73 feet, an arc distance of 131.30 feet, to
the P.T., thence N 67009'41" W 166.55 feet to the
centerline of a ditch, thence along said center-
line N 75045'49" E 343.30 feet, then N 50033'19" E
93.24 feet to the westerly R/W of the Seaboard-
Coastline Railroad, thence S 35038'4l'~ along said
R/W a distance of 76.27 feet to the east line of
said Section 19, thence S 0002'34" W 211.45 feet to
the point of beginning; subject to R/W for Story
Road and the Ocoee-Beulah Road, all being in Section
19 T22S R28E and consisting of 20.50 acres more or
less, not including R/W.
WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to
the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered
voters, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in
Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special
Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, now therefore;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCEE:
Section 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the
following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the munici-
pal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County,
Florida, to its present municipal boundaries, thereby extending its
territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial
limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in
accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Spec-
ial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the Generals Laws of the State
. of Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows:

ginning; subject to R/W for Story Road and the Ocoee-
Beulah Road, all being in Section 19 T22S R28E and
consisting of 20.50 acres more or less, not including
R/W.

Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an
Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing
thirty (30) days from the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby
ordaining that the said land described in Section 1 hereof be annexed
to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the
territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be extended to include the said
land as described herein, and ordaining that from and after the effec-
tive date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full
power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter of
the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature,
1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida, and also Chapter
171, of the Florida Statutes.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for
by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full
force and effect.
