AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX UPON TAXABLE PROPERTY IVITEIN THE CITY
OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1st, 1963,
AND ENDING OCTOBER 31st, 1<164.
vVHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore ascertained and determined
that a tax rate of 20 mills is necessary to produce a fund sufficient
to defray the operating expenses and payment of interest and retire-
ment of the refunding bonds of the minicipal government of the City
of Ocoee for the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1963, and ending
October 31st, 1964, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That a tax in the amount of 15 mills upon the dollars as-
sessed valuation be, and the same is hereby, levied and assessed upon
and against all property on the assessment roll of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, to defray the payment of interest and retirement of the re-
funding bonds of the municipal governn,ent of the Ci ty of Ocoee for the
fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1963, and ending October 31st, 1964.
Section 2. That a tax in the amount of 5 mills upon the dollar as-
sessed valuation be, and the same is hereby, levied and assessed upon
and against all property on the assessment 1'011 of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, which is not exen:pt from n:unicipal taxation of the said City
under and by virtue of the Laws and Constitution of the State of
Florida, to defray the operating expenses of the nlunicipal government
of the City of Ocoee for the fiscal y~ar beginning November 1st, 1963,
and ending October 31st, 1964.
Section 3. Copies of this ordinance shall be posted as provided for
by.law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.

This o'rdinance shall become effective immediately upon
and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise becom-
Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances 1n conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of the ordinance be held invalid,
then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in
full force and effect.
Done in open session at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this
