AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING,
BY REFERENCE, ANY ACT WHICH IS OR SHALL BE RECOGNIZED BY THE LAWS
OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA AS A MISDEMEANOR; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That all laws of the State of Florida now in force and
effect and which may be hereinafter enacted as misdemeanors, be, and
the same are hereby, adopted by the City of Ocoee, Florida, as an
Ordinance of said city.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to commit, within
the corporate limits of the City of Ocoee, Florida, any act which
is or shall be recognized by the laws of the State of Florida as
a misdemeanor, and the commission of such act is hereby forbidden.
Section 3. Any person violating any provisions of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by the same penalties
as provided by the laws of the State of Florida, but in no case
shall such penalty exceed a fine of $500.00 and/or imprisonment
for not more than sixty (60) days.
Section 4. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise becoming
a law.
