ORDINANCE NO. ~.-O :L AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, DECLARING IT UNLAWFUL TO STEAL, TAKE OR CARRY AWAY FROM ANOTHER ANY MONEY, GOODS OR CHATTLES AND PROHIBITING THE BUYING, RECEIVING AND CONCEAL- ING STOLEN PROPERTY; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to steal, take and carry away from another any money, goods or chattles or obtain from such person possession by color or aid of fraudulent or false rep- resentation or pretense, any money, goods or chattles. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to buy, receive or aid in the concealment of any stolen money, goods, chattles or per- sonal property, knowing the same to have been stolen. Section 3. Any person violating any provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by the same penalties as provided by the laws of the State of Florida, but in no case shall such penalty exceed a fine of $500.00 and/or imprisonment for not more ~han sixty (60) days. Section 4. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise becom-' ing a law.
