AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN 'T'RAC'T OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY 01' OCOEE AND SITUATED IN 0RA1dGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO -WIT: The West half of the NW4 of the NW- of Section 16, Township 22 South, Range 28 East WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and YMEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 3rdday of July s 1%2 s duly adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, V"-8.vxbd?= .27 komdzxWm±xkew, and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and MIEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE# Section le That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, be, and they hereby arep extended to include the following described land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows: The West half of the NWi of the NW4 of. Section 16, Township 22 South, Range 28 East Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951,, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925s and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee now exercises powers authority and jurisdiction over other lands within its municipal limits. Section 39 Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4e This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming a law. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid' then such portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect.
