WHEREAS, Toe City Council bas beretofore ascertained and determined that a tax rate of 20 mills is necessary to produce a funa sufficient to defray tbe operating expenses and payment of interest and retire- ment of toe refwuiilg bonds of the mWlicipal government of the City of Oeoee for the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1961, and ending October 31st, 1962, now toerefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. Tbat a tax in tne amount of 15 mills upon the dollars assessed valuation be, and the same is bereby, levied and assessed upon and against all property on the assessment roll of the City of Ocoee, Florida, ~ defray the payment of interest and retirement of the re- funding bonds of the munioipa1 government of tbe City of Ocoee for tne fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1961, and emding October 31st, 1962. Section 2. That a tax in the amount of 5 mills upon tt:e dollar as... sessed valuation be, and toe same is bereby, levied and assessed upon and against all property on the assessment roll of the City of Ocoee, Florida, woicn is not exempt from municipal taxation of the said City under and by virtue of tOe Laws and Constitution of tbe State of Florida, to defray the operating expenses of the municipal government of the City of Ocoee for toe fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1961, and ending October 31st, 19620 Section 30 Copies of tbis ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of tb.e City of Oooee. 8eoUcn 4. All ordinances and parts or ordinances in conflict bere... witb are bereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of tbiB ordinance .. be held invalid, tben such portion as are not declared to be imvalid shall remain in full force and effect.
