HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 400-B ~- ORDINANCE No. /1 tJll ~ ,6-' ~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN 'llRAC'f OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORAlfGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO-WIT: The North Three Qumters of the SE t of the SW t of Section 8, Township 22 South,~ Range 28 East. ~~EREAS, the above desoribed uninoorpor.ated land is lying oontiguous to the munioipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said traot of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and ~ ~~REAS, said land is susceptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of the City of Oooee, and the owners thereof having requested annexation, and WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the day of , 19 , duly adopt an Ordinance declar.ing its intent to annex the land desoribed hereinabove to its prosent municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Sectio~ 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida J~gislature, 1925,~ l' 'j . 1 . _ r l J I and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly postod as prescribed by law upon said land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and ~~EREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Cirouit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAI~mD BY THE CITY COm~CIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, be, and they hereby are~ extended to include the following described land lying and situated in Orange County, Floridas and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows: The North Three Quarters of the SE t of the SW ~ of Section 8, Township 22 South, Range 28 East.4 Section 2. That tho City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land described in Sootion 1 hereof, in aocordanoe with the Charter of the City of Ooooe, Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature~ 1925, and the General Laws of tho State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee now exorcises power, authority and jurisdiction over othor lands within its munioipal limits. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall bo posted as provided for by law and the Chartor of the City of Ocoee. Seotion 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming 0. lo.w. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonfliot horowith are hereby repealed. Section 6.
