ORDINANCE No. tflJO AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND ALLOCATING THE REVENUE OF TEE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA;J FDR TIlE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1st, 1959, AND ENDING OCTOBER 31st, 1960. ~lliER1!;AS, the City C01IDCil has heretofore ascertained and determined tha t a sum of $7l.J., 892.25 is necess8.:t"y. to def'ray the operating ex- penses 8.nd retirements of refunding bonds and interest thereon for the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1959, and ending October 31st, 1960; and WHEREAS, the City Council has he:eetofore fixed the rate of taxation at 20 mills and levied said tax on the properties within the cor- porate limits of the City for the fiscal year beginning Novembel' 1st, 1959, and ending October 31st, 1960; and . That the sum of $3,000000 or such portion thereof as may be realized from the collection of anticipated revenue from the Ad Valorem tax be, and the same is hereby, appropriated and allo- cated to the Interest and Sinking Fund of said City for retirement of' ref'unding bonds for the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1959, and ending October 31st, 1960. Section 2. That the sum of' $2,500.00 or such portion thereof as may be realized from the collection of anticipated revenue from the Ad Valorem tax be, and the same is hereby, appropriated and allo- cated to the Interest and Sinking F'und of' said City for pa-yment of interest on the refnnding bonds for the fiScal year beginning November 1st, 1959, and ending October 31st, 1960. Section 3. That the sum of' $69.9392.25 or such portion thereof as may be realized from the collection of anticipated revenue as above set forth be, and the same is hereby, appropriated and allocated to the general f'und of said City fan disbursement of the oper'ating ex- penses of said City in conformity to the proviSions of the Charter of said City during the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 1959, and ending October 31st, 1960. t \ ~~~ / ~- 7- p ," J ~ =-~ ~) \ Section 4. That the S11l11 realized from the collection of Cigarette Tax Revenue be, and the same is hereby, appropriated and allocated for disbursement in accordance with the tenor and eff'ect of Chapter 210, Florida Statutes, dur1ing the fiscal year beginning November 1st, 19.59, and ending October 31st, 1960. Section.5. Copies of this ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise becom- ing a law. Section 7. All ordinances and parts of ordlnances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. Section 8. Should any portion of' this ordinance be held invalid, then such portion as are not declared to be infalid shall remain in full f'orce and effect.
