HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 396 ~'iiiF'" r ( ORDINANCE No. ..3 9' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 376 PRESCRIBING THE QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY FOR A PERSON TO HOLD AN ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICE IN THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' OCOEE: Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance Number 376 is hereby amended as follows: "Section 2. To hold an elected public office in the City of Ocoee, Florida, the person shall be twenty (21) years of age, a citizen of the United States, a permanent resident living in the Sate of Florida for one (1) V,ear and of the City of Ocoee for one (1) yearo r , Section 2. This OrdXance shall become effect~e immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise becom- ing a law. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealrl. Section 4.
