AN ORDINA1~CE DECLARING THE INTEIITION OF TliE C:TY OF OCOEE, FLOR!DA~TO ~TEX A
CBR:rAIN TRACT OF UNDJC0RPORA'rIm LAiID LYING COE'rIGUOuS TO THE MUNICIPAL BODNDillUES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORAlIJGE COUN~'Y FLORIDA, TO-WIT ~

vTIIEREAS, the above described uninc~rporated land is lying contiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee,9 Florida, and
vVHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
W}I~REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ccoee, and
1JVHEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to anne~c the said land to its present
municipal boundari~s in accordance with the provisions therefor in Seotion
67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida
Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIm CITY OF OCOEE:
Seoti0n l~ The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following
described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of
the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
nmnicipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the
said land within said territorial lilrlts and to exeroise full power and authority
over said land in aocordance with the Charter of the Cit;y of Oooee,9 Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, anq the General Laws of the state of
Florida, said land being luore partioularly desoribed as follows.
Lots 50 and 51,. Blaclr 3, 'fawn of' OCDce, according to the Plat trlereof
as recorded in Plat Book HAil, pac;es 100 and 101, Public Hecol'ds of
. Ur'ange OOlDlty, }i'lorida,
Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to ena.ct an Ordinanoe
at its first re~llar meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from
the effective date of this .Ordinanoe, thereby ordaining that the said land
desoribed in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocoeet and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooee be
extended to include the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from
and after the effGctive date of said Ordinance that the City of Oooee shall
exercise full power and authority over said land in aocordanoe vnth the Charter
of the City of' Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida-
SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of' the City of Ocoeet

This Ordinance shall become effeotive immediately upon its beooming

hereby repealed.
Soction 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held inva.lid, then such
portions as nro not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and
effect.
