AN ORDINAl~CE OF THE CITY OF OaOEE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN TRACT
OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS 1'0 THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF TEE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO-W;J:T:

Lot 1, of R. A. Rewis' Addition to Ocoee, according to plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book flR", Page l09, Public Records
of Orange County, Florida.
~mEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorpor.ated land is lying contiguous to
the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and
VrHEREAS, said traot of land oontains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~~REAS, said land is susoeptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the
City of 00000. and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoeo did on the 5thday of ApriJ. 1955, duly
adopt an Ordinanoe deolaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present munioipal boundaries in aocordance with the
provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida statutes, and
~ffiEREAS, said Ordinanoe was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
1~EREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Cirouit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
DE IT ORDAI~mD BY THE CITY COUlrCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
,Seotion 1. That tho municipal boundaries of the City of Ooooe, Florida;
be, and they hereby are~ extended to include the following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the munioipal territory of tho
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly desoribed as
follows:
Lot 1, of R. A. Rewis' Addition to Ocoee, according to plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book "H", Page 109, Public Records
of Orange County, Florida.
Section 2. That tho City of Oooeo shall and will from the effeotive
date of this Ordinance exeroise full powor and authority over the land
described in Seotion 1 heroof, in aocordance with the Churter of the
City of Ooooe, Chapter 10951, Spocial Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands vdthin its municipal limits.
Section 3- Copies of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocoeo.
Section 4. This Ordinanoe shall beoome effeotive immediately upon its
beooming a law.
Section 5- All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then
such portions as are not declared to bo invalid shall remain in full
forco and effect.
Done in opon session, at 00000, Orango County, Florida, this 6th
day of May , 1955.
