AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, Ju1NEXING A CERTAIN TRACT
OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CO:NTIGUOUS TO THE W,NICIPAL BOUNDlffiIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AI~ SITUATED IN OFUU~GE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO-WIT:
Lot 18, Block "B" of Esther Heights, according to plat thereof
recorded in PIa-I; Book 1l0", Page 95, Publio Records of Orange
County, Florida!
~~EREAS, the above desoribed uninoorpor.ated land is lying contiguous to
the munioipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
~TIffiREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~r.ffiREAS, said land is susceptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of the
City of Ocoae, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 5th day of April , 19 55, duly
adopt an Ordinanoe deolaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Seotion
171.04 Florida statutes, and
~mEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period presoribed by law, and
~~EREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the munioipal territory of tho
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more purticularly described us
follows:
Lot 18, Block "Bll of Esther Heights, according to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book ffOt!, Page 95, Public Records or Orange
County, Florida.
Section 2. That tho City of Ocoee shull and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power und authority over the land
described in Seotion 1 hereof, in aocordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocooe, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ococe now exorcises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands within its municipal limits.
Seotion 3- Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Chartor of the City of Ocoeo.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effectivo in~ediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. ~l Ordinances und parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions as are not declared to bo invalid shall remain in full
~oroo and effect.
