CERTAIN TRACT OF UNDrCOEPORA'fED LAND LYING COFi1'lGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDJiRIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUN'l'Y },i'LORIDA, TO""WIT =
Eight acres in the SW corner of the SW~ of the NWi of Sec. 20,
Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a stake at theSW corner of the said SW ~ of Nwi of
Sec. 20, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, run East 13~ chains, North 6
chains,West 13~ chains, South 6 chains to point of beginning,
Containing eight acres more or less.
WHEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorporatec1 land is lying oontiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and

WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WE~REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving munioipal benefits of
the City of Cooee, and
vVHEPEAS, the City of Ocoee desires to anneJC the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section
67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts" Florida
Legislature, 1925, and Section 171004 Florida statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAIHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex tho following
described unincorporated land lying contiguous to thG municipal boundaries of
the City of Oooee o.nd situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
llluniciJ:lal bounde,rios, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the
said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full pmver and authority
over said land in accordance with the Charter of the Cit~r of Ocoee, Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925J and the General Laws of the state of
Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as follows I

Twp. 22, S., R. 28 East, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a stake at the SW corner of the said SW l of NWt of
Sec. 20i Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, Run East 13t chains, North 6 chains,
West 132 chains, South 6 chains to point of beginning, containing
eight acres more or less.
Section 2. The City of Oooee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinanoe
at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thhty (30 ) days from
the effective date of this ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land
described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocoeo, and ordaining ~lat the territorial limits of the City of Oooee be
extendod to include the said land as desoribed herein.1 and ordaining that from
a.nd af'ber the effective date of said Ordinanoe that th6 City of Ocoee shall
exercise fnll power and auth ority over aaj.d land in accordance with the Charter
of the City of Ooooe, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3. Copios of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of' the City of Ocoee.

Soction 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such
portions as uro not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foree and
effect.
