R. 28 East, run East 8 chains, South 12i chains, West 8 chains, North 12i chains to point of beginning. WIIEHEAS, the above described unincol'pol'atec1 land is lying contiguous to the munici.pal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and ~rnEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WE~REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving munioipal benefits of the City of Ccoae, and WHEHEAS, the City of Ocoee desires to anneJC the said land to its present municipal bounds.ries in aocordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Char'ber of the City of Oooee, Chapter. 10951, Special Acts~ Florida Legislature, 1925, and Soction 17looL~ Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. The City of Ocoee horeby declares its intent to annex the following described unj.ncorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee e.nd situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present nlunioipa1 boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to inolude the said land within said teaitorial limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee" Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature" 1925, and the General Laws of the state df Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as follows, Beginning at a point 5 chains East of the NW corner of the SE% of the Nwi of Sec. 20, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, run East 8 chains, South 12i chains, West 8 chains, North 12i chains to point of beginning. Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thhty (30 ) days from the effective date of this Ordinanoe, thereby ordaining that the said land described in Seotion 1 hereof be annexod to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be extendod to include the said land as described herein" and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinance that th6 City of OC06e shall exerciso fnll power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter of the Ci t~T of 00080, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislaturo, 1925, alill the General Laws of the state of Florida. SECTION 3. Copios of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of' the City of Ocuoe. Soction LI. a law.'
