CERTAIN TRACT OF UNDJCOPPORA'rED LAND LYING COE'rIGUOUS TO TEE MUNICIPAL BOUND.~lRIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED HI ORANGE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO""WIT:
Beginning at a point 9 chains East of the NW corner of the swt of
the Nwi of Sec. 20, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, thence running South
l3i chains to Butler's land, thence East 4 1/3 chains, thence South
6 chains, thence East 11 2/3 chains, thence North 19~ chains to
quarter section line, thence West 16 chains to place of beginning,
Containing 30 acreS more or less.
lNIlEItEAS, the above desoribed unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Floridal and

WflliREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WHsREAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ccoee, and
WHI~REAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
muni.dpal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section
67 of the Char'ber of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida
Legislature" 1925, and Section 17lQoL~ Florida Statutes, noW' therefore,
BE IT ORDAIlJED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Seotion 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the following
described unj.nc0rporated land lying contiguous to thG municipal boundaries of
the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
nmnioiJ:lal boundaries, thereby extGnding its territorial limits to inolude the
said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority
over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocooe, Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of
Florida, said land being more particularly desoribed as follows:
Beginning at a point 9 chains East of the NW corner of the swt of
the Nwt of Sec. 20, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, thence running South 13t
chains to Butler's land, thence East 4 1/3 chains, thenceSouth 6 '
chains, thence East 11 2/3 chains, thence North 19i chains to quarter
section line, thence West 16 chains to place of beginning, Containing
30 acres more or less.
Section 2. The City of Ocoeo hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinanoe
at its first regular meerbing held after the next ensuing thhty (30 ) days from
the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land
described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocooe, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooee be
extendod to include the said land as described herein" and ordaining that from
and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of OC06e shall
exerciso full pOllror and auth ol'i ty oyer said land in accordance with the Charter
of the Cit~T of OC080, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the state of Florida.
SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of' the City of OCOEH~.
Section 4.

This Ordinanco shall become effective iIT~ediately upon its becoming

Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then suoh
portions as uro not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and
effect.
