AN OHDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLOHIDA, PHOHIBI'fING TRESPASS
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Ocoee:
Section 1., It shall be unlawful f()l~ any person to enclose, enter
upon, or cause to be enclosed or entered upon, 01' any part thereof,
the land or premises of another, wi tho'ut previously obtaining the
written consent of the owner thereof.
Section 2. The unauthorized enclosure, entry upon, 01' any part there-
of, of the land or premises or another shall be prima facie evidence
of the intention of such person to c onmli t an act of trespass.
Section 3. The word fftrespass" when used herein shall be deemed to
be used in its broadest and most liberal sense, and shall include
fencing, cultivation, livinG upon, or any other' use of such land or
premises, without previously obtaining the written consent of the
owner thereof.
Section 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordin-
ance shall upon conviction therefor be punished by a fine of not more
than fifty dollars, or by imprisonment in the City Jail for not mope
than one month, or by both. fine and imppisonment.
Section 50 Copies of this ordinance shall be posted as ppovided for
by law and the Cru'lrteI' of the City of Ocoee.
Section 6. 'fhis ordinanc e shall become effective immediately upon
:Lts passage, and approval by the Hayor, or upon its otherwise becoming
a law. .
Section 7. All ordinance and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 8. Should any portion of this ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions as are not declared. to be invalid sb,all I' emain in full
force and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 20th
day of September, 1955.
