AN OEiDIllTANCE LEVYIIG A TAX UPON TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF GOOD, FLORIDA, FOR TBE FISCAL YEAR BEGINIlDlG )(OVEMBER 1, 1,$7,
AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1'58.
WHEREAS, tne Oity Oouncil bas heretofore ascertained and aetermined
that a tax rate of 20 mills is necessary to produce a fUnd sufficient
to aefray tne operating expenses and payment of interest and retire-
ment of tbe refunding bonds of the municipal government of the City
of Ocoee for tbe fiscal year beginning November 1, 19$7, ana ending
Ootober 31, 1958, now therefore,
BE IT OlIDAIllED BY THE CITY COWCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That a tax in tho amount of 15 mills upon tne dollars as-
sessed valuation be, and tbe same 1s bereby, levied and asseBsed upon
and against all property on tne assessment roll of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, to defray tne payment of interest and retirement of the re-
funding bonds of the munioipa1 government ot tbe City of Ocoee tor tne
fiscal year beginning November 1, 1957, and ending Ootober 31, 1958.
Section 2. That a tax in tbe amount of 5 mills upon the dollar as-
sessed valuation be, and tba same is hereby,levied and assessed upon
and against all property ontae assessment roll of t~e City of Oooee,
Florida, which is not exempt trom municipal taxation of the saii City
under and by virtue of the Laws and Oonstitution of the State of
Florida, to detray the operating expenses of the municipal government
of the City ot Oaoee for the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1957,
and ending October 31, 1958.
Seotion 3. Oopies of this ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for
by law and!the Oharter of the Oity of Ocoee.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become ef~eotive immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise becom-
ing a law.
Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are horeby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this ordinance be held invalid,
then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in
full torce and et~eot.

SectiQn 4. ~hat the sum realized rrom tae collection of Cigarette
Tax Revenue be, and tne same is hereby, appropriated and allooated
ror disbursement in acoordance with tne tenor and erreot or Ohapter
210, Florida Statutes, 1'57, duringthe riscal beginning November 1,
1957, and ending October 31, 1'56.
Section 5. Copies of this ordinance shall be posted as provided for
by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 6. ~his ordinance shall become effeotive immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor, or upon its otherwise beoom-
ing a law.
Seotion 7. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 8. Should any portioR of this ordinance be ReId invalid,
tben such portion as are not declared to be invalid snaIl remain in
full foroe and effect.
