'AN ORDINANOE OF THE CITY OF OCOBE, F'LORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN 'TRACi'
OF UNHrCORPORATED. LAND LYING OONTIGUOUS TO THE Iff.1JN::CIPAL BOtTND.ARIEf1 ,;;"r"
OF THE CITY OF' OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORAJ\JGE COUnTY, FLORIDA, TO-WIT = '
Lot 18, West of the Railroad, in Rueben Keglers Subdivision of the
SEt of the NEi of Sec. 18, Twp. 22 South Range 28 East, according
to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "A", Page 118, Public Records
of Orange County, Florida
~mEREAS, the above described uninoo~por.ated land is lying oontiguous to
the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and
V~mREAS, said traot of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~~EREAS, said land is susoeptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of the
City of Oooee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 5th day of April , 1955, duly
adopt an Ordinance deolar.ing its intent to annex the land desoribed
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in aooordance with the
provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ooooe#
Chapter 10951, Speoial Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Seotion
171.04 Florida statutes, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinanoe was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period presoribed by law, and
~REREAS, ~ objeotion to said annexation ~~filed in the Cirouit
Court of Orange County, Florida, ~~ was dismissed on October 1,
1956, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida,
be, and they hereby aree extended to inolude the following desoribed .
land lying and sHua'bed in Orange County, Floridas and, that said traot
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the munioipal territory of tho
Ci ty of Oo,ooe, Florida1 said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 18, West of the Railroad, in RuebeD Keglers Subdivision of the
SEt of the NEt of Sec. 18, T1V'po 22 South Range 28 East, according
to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "All, Page 118, Public Records
of Orange COlUlty, Florida
Section 2. That tho City of Ocoee shall and will from the effeotive
dute of this Ordinanoe exeroise full p~jer and authority over the land
desoribed in Seotion 1 hereof,. in aooordo.nce with the Charter of the
Ci ty of Ocoee., Chapter 10951,9 Special Aots" Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of tho State of Florida" as fully and completely as
the City of Oooee now exoroises powerll aubhority and jurisdiotion over
other lunds within its munioipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinanoe shall bo posted as provided for by
law and the Chartor of the CHy of Oooeo.
Section 4. TIlis Ordinance shall beoome effeotivo immediately upon its
beooming 0. law.
Seotion 5- All Ordinanoes and parts of Ordinanoes in oonflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then
such portions as are not deolared to be invalid shall remain in full
foroe and effeot.
