WHEREAS" the City Cow.lcil has heretofore ascertained and determined that a tax rate of 20 mills is necessary to produce a fund sufficient to defray the operating expenses and payment of interest and retire- ment of the refw.lding bonds of the mw.licipal government of the City of Ocoee for the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1956, and ending October 31, 1957, now ther~fore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI'l'Y COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. 'rl1.8. t a tax in the amount of 15 mills upon the dollar as- sessed valuation be, and the smne is hereby" levied ani assessed upon and against all property on the assessment roll of the City of Ocoee, Florida, to defray the pa~aent of interest and retirement of the re- fllilding bonds of the municipal goverrunent of the City of Ocoee for the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1956, and ending October 31" 1957. Section 2. That a tax in the amollilt of 5 mills upon the dollar as- sessed valuation be, and the same is hereby, levied and assessed upon and against all property on the assessment roll of the City of Ocoee, Florida, which is not exempt from mw.licipal taxation of the said City under and by virtue of the Laws and Constitution of the State of Florida" to defray the operating expenses of the TIlunicipal government of the City of Ocoee for the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1956, and ending October 31, 1957. ' Section 3. Copies of this ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4.' This ordinance shall become effective irnnediately upon its pas.sage and appl"'oval by the r'Iayor" or upon its otherlJ'ise becoming a law. Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ol"'dinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. Section 6.
