OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORAl'ifGE COIDJTY. FLOlUDA, TO-WIT:

plat thereof recorded. in Plat Book ltAtt, Pages 100-101, Public
Records of Orange County, Florida .
V\.1HERE.AS, the above described uninoorpor.a.ted land is lying oontiguous to
the MUnioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida., and
VrnEREAS, said traot of land oontains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~~REAS, said land is susoeptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the
City of Oooee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 20 day of Marcn , 1956, duly
adopt an Ordinance deolaring its intent to annex the land desoribed
hereinabove to its prosent municipal boundaries in aooorda.nce with the
provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Cha.pter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925" and Seotion
171.04 Florida statutes, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
~~EREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Cirouit
Court of Orangs County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUl\fCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Seotion 1. Tha.t the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida.;
be, a.nd they hereby a.re} extended to include the following desoribed
land lying and sit,uabed in Ora.nge County, Floridas and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of tho
City of Oqoee, Floridal said land being more particularly desoribed as
follows: ,;
Lots 37 and 38, Block 4, of the Town of Ocoee, according to
plat tb.ereof recorded in Plat Book f1A'., Pages 100-101, Public
Records of Orange County, Florida
Seotion 2. That the City of Oooee shall and will from the effeotive
date of this Ordinanoe exercise full p~{er and authority over the land
described in Seotion 1 hereof! in aocordanoe with the Churter of the
Ci ty of Ocoee. Chapter 1095:1." Special ,Aots) Florida Legisluture~ 1925,
and the General Laws of tho State of Flox-ida, as fully and completely as
the City of 00000 now exoI'cises powe:'e o.ubhority and jurisdiction over
othor lands within its m~nicipal limits.
Section 3- Copies of this Ordinunoe shall bo posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of 00000.
Seotion 4. This Ordinance shall become effectivo immedio.tely upon its
boooming a law.
Section 5- All Ordiriances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict herewith
arc hereby repealed.
Seotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid~ then
suoh portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full
forDo and effect.
