V~IEREAS, the above desoribed unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida" and ~rnEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and W}L~REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ccoee, and WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present municipal boundaries in accordanoe with the provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Char'ber of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature" 1925, m~~~~~~~!tj~~~t~~~~~~ now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Seotion l. ' The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex tho following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present munioipal boundaries" thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said lund within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State o.f Florida, said land being luore partioularly desoribed as follows. Tho City of Ocoeo hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinanoe at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effeotive date of this Ordinanoe" thereby ordaining that the said land desoribed in Section 1 hereof be annexod to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Ooooe be extended to inolude the said land as described herein" and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full power and authority over saj.d land in aocordanoe with the Charter of the Ci t;), of Ocoeo, Chapter 10951, Special Aots" Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of Florida. SECTION 3. Copios of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of' the City of Ocoee. Soction 1_1. a law. This Ordinance shall beoome effoctive immediately upon its beooming Sectiun 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinanoes in conflict herewith are hereby ropealed. Seotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then suoh portions as nro not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and effect.
