~~EREAS, the above desoribed unincorpor.ated land is lying contiguous to
the munioipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
VffiEREAS, said traot of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~~EREAS, said land is susoeptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of the
City of Ocoee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Oooee did on the l1til:lay of .Jan:uary, 1916 , duly
adopt an Ord:l.nance declal.'ing its intent to annex the lund described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordanoe wlth the
provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislatureo) 1925$ and Section
l7la04 Florida statutes~ and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by lawN and
~~EREAS, no objootion to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
DE IT ORDAI~mD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee" Florida,
be, and they hereby a~e: extended to inolude the fo:lowing desoribed
land lying and S.iti.C.t60 in Orange c.ounty!> Flo,dda! and, that said traot
of land beg and it; heleby :ts" annexed -to the municipal territory of tho
City of Ocoee, Florida3 said land being more partioularly described as
follows:

Seotion 2e That tho City of Ocoeo shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and a'l1;ho!"Hy over the land
described in Section 1 hercof~ in aocordanoe with the Charter of the
Ci ty of Ocoee, Chapter 1095>" Special Acd:;sJ FLori1a Legislc.ture" 1925,
and the General Laws of +;ho State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ocoe8 now eXO;,ciSG8 puW'3:;:"~ authority and jurisdiction over
other lands within its mt;,nicipal limits.
Seotion 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Chartor of the City of Ocooe.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall beoome effeotive immediately upon its
beooming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict herowith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions as are not doolarod to be invalid shall remain in full
foroo and effect.
