WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee" Florida" and
WHEREAS" said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WK3REAS, the said land is susceptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of
the City of Ccoee, and
~~REAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundt3.ries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Seotion
67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts,? Florida
Legislature" 1925, and Section l71Q04 Florida statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Seotion 1. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex tho follmving
described uninoorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of
the City of Oooee e.nd situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the
said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority
over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee" Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of
Florida, said land bej.ng more partioularly desoribed as follows:

Gection 2. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to enact an Ordinance
at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from
the effeotj..ve date of this Ordinanoe, thereby ordaining that the said land
describod in SGction 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Oc08e, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooee be
extended to include the said land as desoribed herein, and ordaining that from
and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall
exeroiso full pm'lfer and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter
of the Cit~r of Ocoeo, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature" 1925,
and the General Laws of the state of Florida.
SECTION 3. Copios of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of the City of OcoGe.

Sectivn 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinanoes in conflict h0rewith are
hereby repealed.
Soction 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such
portions as arc not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and
effect.
