AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTEITTION OF THE CITY OF OCOE3i FLORIDA.,TO ANNEX A
CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPORATED I,AM LYING C0174TIGUOUS TO THE IMNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO-ViTIT: ,
All that art of the NWI of the SWL and the West 522 feet of the NE!
of the SW4 of Section 18, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, Lying North of the
brick road.
WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WKMEAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ccoee, and
1'HEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section
67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida
Legislature, 19250 and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the following
described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of
the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the
said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority
over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of
Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows:
All that part of the NWI of the SW' and the West 522 feet of the NE -
of the SW,' of Section 19, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, Lying; North of the
brick road.
Section 2• The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinance
at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from
the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land
described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be
extended to include the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from
and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall
exercise full power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter
of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section I4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming
a laws
Seeticn 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such
portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and
effect.
