AN ORDINANCE DEC11RIFG THE I �TTE�TTION OF THE CITY OF OCOES, FL AiMEX A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCOP.POPA'PPD LAM LYING COFTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCCEE A14D SITUATED ITT ORANGE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO= -WIT: Lot 7, Block "B" of Esther heights, according to plat thereof re- corded in Plat Book "0", Page 95, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. 1,171EREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and TMEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and W'117;REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ccoee, and YNT- PEAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925s and Section 171*OL� Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAIdED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: SeetiDn 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City cf Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said lard within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 109511 Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925s and the General Laws of the State of Florida, said land being wore particularly described as followss Lot 7, Block "V' of Esther heights, according to plat thereof re- corded in Plat Book "0", Page 95s Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining, that the said land described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be extended to include the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall e:zerciso full power and authority over said land in accordance tivith the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10R512 Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 19250 and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 14. This Crdinanco shall become effective immediately upon its becoming a law• Section 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portions as aro not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect.
