AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTEaITION OF THE CITY OF 00O3E9 FLOBIDA'TO ANNEX A
CERTAIN TRACT OF UNIHCORPORATTM LA%TD LYING CO iTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO -WIT:
Lot 3: Block "Ali of Esther Heights, according to plat thereof re—
corded in Plat Book 11011, Page 95, Public Records of Orange County,
Florida.
VIITEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the
mun.icipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
tiIMREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
7ITII7,REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ccoee, and
17,17 T'��AS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section
67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida
Legislature, 1925s and Section 17loOL. Florida Statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAIitED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Sectin 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the following
described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of
the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the
said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority
over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925s and the General Laws of the State of
Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows
Lot 3, Block "A" of Esther Heights, according to plat thereof re—
corded in, Plat Book 110", Page 95, Public Records of Orange County,
Florida.
Section 2• The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinance
at its first tabular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 days rs from
the effective date of this Ordinance,, thereby ordaining that the said land
described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be
extended to include the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from
and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall
exercise frill power and authority over said land in accordance lirith the Charter
of the Citi} of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925s
and the General Lavas of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3. Cc,pics of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of the City of Ocoee•
Section This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming
a law•
Section 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby ropealedo
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such
portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and
effect.
