AN ORDINA1~CE DECIJffiING THE INTEIITION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA,TO ANNEX A
CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPORATED IJAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO-WITs
Beginning at the SE corner of Lot 20f Block 2 of the Town of Ocoee6
thence North 81 feet, thence West 100 feet6 thence South 81 feet6
thence East 100 feet to the place of beginning.
VfdEREAS, the above desoribed unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and
~mEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WK~EAS, the said land is susoeptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ocoee6 and
~~REAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in accordanoe with the provisions therefor in Seotion
67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida
Legislature, 1925, and Seotion 171.04 Florida Statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAIlJED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
SeotLm 1. The City of Oooee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following
described uninoorporated land lying oontiguous to the municipal boundaries of
the City of Oooee and situated in Orange CO\Ulty, Florida, to its present
municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to inolude the
said land within said territorial limits and to exorcise full power and authority
over said land in aocordance with the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of
Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as followsl
Beginning at the SE corner of Lot 2 of Block 2 of the Town of Ocoee,
thence North 81 feet, thence West 100 feet, thence South 81 feet6
thence East 100 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. Tho City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enaot an Ordinance
at its first regular meeting held after the neJct ensuing thirty (30 ) days from
the effecti.ve date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land
desoribed in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooeo be
extended to include the said land as desoribed herein, and ordaining that from
and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Oooee shall
exercise full power and authority over said land in aocordance "nth the Charter
of' the City of Ocoeo6 Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925"
and the General Laws of the state of Florida.
SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of' the City of Ocoee.

Secticn 5. All ordinanoes and parts of Ordinanoes in oonflict herewith are
hereby ropealed.
Soction 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then suoh
portions as arc not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and
effect.
