V~IEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and vVHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WK~EAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and ~mEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present muni.cipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 17lQoL~ Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial liirlts and to exorcise full pmver and authority OVGr said land in aocordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as followst ~. Lot 196 West o~ the Railroad, in Rueben Keglers Subdivision of the SEt of the NEt of Sec. 18, Twp. 22 South Range 28 East, according to p1at thereo-r recorded in Plat Book "A", Page 118, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. Tho City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinanoe at its first reVllar meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effective date of this ordinance, thereby ordaining that thE( said land described in S0ctiol1 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining; that the territorial limits of the City of Ooooe be extendod to include the said land as described herein" and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter of' the Ci t:' of OCOOG, Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of' the City of Ocoee, Soction LI' a law, This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming Seotion 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict horewith are hereby repealed. Scotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portions as nrc not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and effect.
