VElEHEAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land co!~ains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WH::REAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ccoee, and vmEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to a11lleJ:: the said land to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter nf the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts" Florida Legislature, 1925, anc Section 17l~oh Florida Statutes, noW' therefore, BE IT ORDAIlJED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: SectiJn 1. TIle City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex the follm~ing described unincorporated land lying contiguous to tho municipal boundaries of the City of 00000 and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present municipal boundaries" thereby extending its territorial limits to inch1.de the said land within said te:l.'ritorial limits and to exercise full pOllwr and authority OVGr said land in accordance with the Cha.rter of the City of Ocoeo, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of Florida, said land being more partioularly described as follows: Lot 18, Block "B" of Esther Hei~hts, according to plat thereof re- corded in Plat_Book "0", Page 95, Public Records of Orange County, Floridao' ... Section 2. Tho City of Ocoe8 hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinanoe at its first regular meeting held after the ne~ct ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effect5.ve date 0f this ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land describod in S(';ctiol1 1 he~'eof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocooe, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of OcoGe be extondod to include the said land as described herein., and ordaining that from a,nd afber the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Oooee shall exercise fnll power and authority over said land in aocordance with the Charter of the Ci t:' of Oooeo~ Chapter 10951j Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3- Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of' the City of Ocoee. Soction l.\_ a law.
