AN ORDIUANCE DECLARU!G THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA1TO ANNEX A
CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY FLORIDA, T~WIT:
Lot 7, R. A. Rewis' Addition to the Town or Ocoee, according to plat
tnereor recorded in Plat Book ttH", Page 109, Public Records of Orange
County, Florida.
vnIEREAS, the above described uninoorporated land is lying oontiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
~VHEREAS, said traot of land contains less than ten (lO) registered voters,
and
WHZREAS, the said land is susoeptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of
the City of Oooee, and
~~REAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in acoordance with the provisions therefor in Seotion
67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Speolal Aots, Florida
Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAInED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Seotion 1. The City of Oooee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following
described uninoorporated land lying oontiguous to the munloipal boundaries of
the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present
municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to inolude the
said land within said territorial limits and to exeroise full power and authority
over said land in aocordanoe with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951,
Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of
Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as follOWSt
Lot 7, Ro Ao Rewis' Addition to the Town of Ocoee, according to plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book uHtt, Page 109, Public Records of Orange
County, Florida.
Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to enaot an Ordinance
at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from
the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land
described in Scotion 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Ocoee, and ordaining tha.t the territorial limits of the City of Oooee be
extended to inolude the said land as desoribed herein, and ordaining that from
and after the effective date of said Ordinanoe that the City of Oooee shall
exercise full power and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter
of the Ci t~T of Oooeo, Chapter l095l, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the state of Florida.
SECTION 3- Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law
and the Charter of the City of Oooee.
Section 4.

This Ordinanoe shall become effective immediately upon its beooming
Secticn 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinanoas in oonflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then suoh
portions as nrc not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and
effect.
