FLORIDA.TO ANNEX A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCOEPORA'fED LAND LYING COETIGUOUS TO THE M1JlifICIPAL BOUlWilliIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORA1'J'GE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO,.WIT; Lot 18, West of the Railroad, in Rueben Keglers Subdivision of the SEt of the NEt of Sec. 18, Twp. 22 South Range 28 East, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "A", Page 118, Public Records of Orange COlmty, Florida. VITIEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land oontains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WH3REAS, the said land is susceptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and ~mEREAS, the City of Oooee desires to annex the said land to its present municipal boundaries in aooordanoe with the provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts~ Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section l71Q04 Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAI!JED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section l. The City of Oooee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying oontiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present munioipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in aocordance with the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as followss Lot 18, West of the Railroaa, in Rueben Keglers Subdivision of the SEt of the NEt of Sec. 18, Twp. 22 South Range 28 East, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "A", Page 118, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to enact an Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land desoribed in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooea be extended to inolude the said land as desoribed herein, and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinanoe that the City of OC06e shall exercise ~lll power and authority over said land in aocordanoe vnth the Charter of' the Ci tJ7 of Oooeo, Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of' the City of Oooee_ Section Ll' a law. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then suoh portions as nrc not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and effect.
