FLORIDAcTO AlniEX A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNIHCOHPORA'rED LAND LYING CON'rIGUOUS TO Tlllil I'1UNlcIPAL BOUNDlillIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AlID SITU~\TED IN ORA1IJGE COUNTY FLORIDA, TO,.,WIT ~ Lot 17, West of the Railroad, in Rueben Keglers Subdiviaion of the SEt of the NE~ of Sec. 18, Twp. 22 South Range 28 East, Acoording to plat- thereof recorded in Plat Book !tAn, Page 118, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. WHEREAS, the above desoribed unincorporated land is lying oontiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land oontains less than ten (10) registered voters, and W}I~REAS, the said land is susceptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the City of Ccoee, and WHEHEAS, the City of Oooee desires to anne:;c the said land to its present muni.cipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts" Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171(loL~ Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAInED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Seotion 1. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying oontiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present munioipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to inolude the said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority ovor said land in aocordanoe-with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter l0951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of Florida, said land being n~re partioularly desoribed as follpWst Lot 17, West of the Railroad, in Rueben Keglers Subdivision of the SEl of the NEl of Sec. 18, ~wp. 22 South Range 28 East, according to plat" thereof recorded in Plat Book nAn, Page 118, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Seotion 2. Tho City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to enact an Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the n.ext ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land described in Soot ion 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Ocoea be extended to inolude the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full power and auth ori ty over said land in accordanoe with the Charter of the Ci t;y of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3. Copios of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for by law and the CharteJ:' of' the City of Ocoee. Section 1.\. a law. This Ordinance shall become effeotive irr~ediately upon its beooming Sectiun 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict herewith are hereby repealed. Scotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then suoh portions as nrc not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and effect.
