Rewis' Addition to Oooee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book~tlHn, Page 109, Public Records of Orange County, FloI'ida. VflIEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorporated land is lying oontiguous to the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and ~rnEREAS, said traot of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WE3REAS, the said land is susoeptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the City of Oooee, and ~VHEP,EASj the City of Oooee desires to annex the said land to its present munioipal boundaries in aooordanoe with the provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts; Florida Legislature, 1925, and Seotion 171004 Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. The City of Oooee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following described un1.ncorporated land lying oontiguous to the munioipal boundaries of the City of Ooooe and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present munioipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to inolude the said land within said territorial lilUtS and to exercise full pmver and authority over said land in aocordanoe with the Charter of the Cit~' of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as followst Lot 1, of R. A. Rewis' Addition to Ocoee, according to plat theI'eof recorded in Plat Book~t1Hn, Page 109, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Seotion 2. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to enaot an Ordinanoe at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effeotive date of this Ordinanoe, thereby ordaining that the said land described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of OOOGO, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooea be extended to inolude the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from and afber the effective date of said Ordinanoe that the City of Oooee shall exercise full povrer and auth ori ty over said land in accordanoe vn th the Charter of the Ci t~T of Ocooe, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Oooee. Section LI' a law. This Ordinanoe shall become effective i~~ediately upon its beooming Sectiun 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinanoes in oonflict h~ewith are hereby ropealed. Soction 6. ffi10uld any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then suoh portions as nro not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and effect.
