VflIEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and VmEREAS, said tract of land oontains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WK~EAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving munioipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and ~~REAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now therefore, BE IT ORDAIlJED BY THE CITY COUlIJCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Seotion 1. The City of Ocoee hereby deolares its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooeo and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present municipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial liluts and to exercise full power and authority over said land in aocordanoe with the Charter of the City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the state of Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as followSt Lot 11, Block 4 of the Town or Ocoee, according to plat thereof re- corded in Plat Book ttAIt, Pages 100-101, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinanoe at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30 ) days from the effective date of this Ordinanoe, thereby ordaining that the said land described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee, and ordaining that the territorial limits of the City of Oooea be extended to include the said land as described herein, and oroaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinanoe that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full povTer and authority over said land in accordanoe with the Charter of' the City of Ocoeo, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 3- Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of' the City of Ocoee. Scction L~. a law. This Ordinanco shall beoome effective irr~ediately upon its beooming Sectiun 5. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict herewith are hereby ropealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then suoh portions as ape not declared to be invalid shall remain in full foroe and effect. Done in open session, at Ocoee, day of April , 1955.
