AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE. FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN TRACT
OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE Al~ SITUATED IN OFUU~GE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO-WIT:
Lot 21, Block "B" o~ Esthttr Heights, according to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book "0", Page 95, Public Records of Orange
County, Florida.
WHEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorporated land is lying contiguous to
the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~~S, said land is susoeptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the
City of Oooee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Oooee did on the 1st day of March , 1955, duly
adopt an Ordinanoe deolaring its intent to annex the land desoribed
hereinabove to its present munioipal boundaries in acoordance with the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of tho Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and section
171.04 Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
~~REAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUl~CIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Seotion 1. That the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following desoribed
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Oooee, Florida, said land being more partioularly desoribed as
follows:
Lot 21, Block "B" or Eathar Heights, according to pla.t thereof
recorded in Plat Book "0", Page 95, Public Records of Orange
C01ll1.ty, Florida.
Section 2. That tho City of Ocoee shall and will from the effeotive
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Seotion 1 hereof, in aocordance with the Charter of the
City of Oooee, Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of tho State of Florida, as fully and oompletely as
the City of Ocoee now exorcises power, authority and jurisdiction over
othor lands vdthin its municipal limits.
Seotion 3- Copios of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocooo.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall beoome effectivo immediately upon its
bocoming a law.
Seotion 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinanoes in conflict herowith
are hereby repealed.
Seotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions as are not doclared to be invalid shall remain in full
foroo and effect.
Done in open sossion, at 00000, Orango County. Florida, this 5th
day ot April , 1955.
