ORDINANCE No. r;5 v't.- ~ AN ORDUrANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN 'iRAC'f OF UNHrCORPORl.TED LAND LYING CON'"TIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF' OCOEE AND SITUATED IN OFUU~GE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO-WIT: Lot 19, Block fiB" or Esther Heights, according to plat thsreof' recorded in Plat Book "0", Page 95, Public Reco:.rds o~ Orange County, Florida ~ffiEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the munioipal boundaries of the City of Ooooe, Florida, and ~rrnREAS, said traot of land oontains less than ten (10) registered voters, and ~1rnREAS, said land is susceptible of reoeiving munioipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and WEEHEAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 1st day of March I 1955, duly adopt an Ordinance deolaring its intent to annex the land described hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida J~gislature, 1925, and Seotion 171.04 Florida statutes, and WHEREAS, said Ordinanoe was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said land and in said City of Ocoee for the period presoribed by law, and ~mEREAS, no objeotion to said annexation has been filed in the Cirouit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the munioipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, be, and they hereby are~ extended to include the following desoribed land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said traot of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the munioipal territory of the Oity of Oooee, Florida, said land being more partioularly described as follows: Lot 19, Block "BU or Esther Heights, according to plat thereof' recorded in Plat.Book nO", Page 95, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. That tho City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinanoe exercise full p~{er and authority over the land described in Seotion 1 hereof, in aooordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the Stnte of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Oooee now exeroises power, authority and jurisdiction over othor lands within its municipal limits. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for by law and the Chartor of the City of Ocoee. Section 4. This Ordinanoe shall beoome effective immediately upon its becoming a law. Seotion 5- All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict horowith arc hereby repealed. Seotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then suoh portions as are not deolared to be invalid shall remain in full forco and effect.
