AN ORDINAJmE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, AN}ffiXING A CERTAIN TRACT
OF UNHJCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF TEE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORAl~GE COUlliITY, FLORIDA, TOwWIT:
Lot 15, Block "Bft o~ Estber Heights, according to plat tb.ereo~
recorded in Plat Book "Off, Page 95, Public Records o~ Orange
County, Florida
~~EREAS, the above desoribed uninoorpor.ated land is lying contiguous to
the munioipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
VrnEREAS: said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
~~EAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the
City of Ocoee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Oooee did on the 1st day of March , 1955, duly
adopt an Ordinanoe deolaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its prosent municipal boundaries in accordanoe with the
provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Oooee,
Chapter 10951, Speoial Acts, Florida J~gislature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida statutes, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period presoribed by law, and
W~REAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooeo, Florida,
be, and they hereby are~ extended to include the following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Oooee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 15, Block "B" o~ Esther Heights, according to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book "O"D Page 95, Public Records of Orange
County, Florida
Section 2. That tho City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Seotion 1 hereof, in aooordance with the Charter of the
City of OcoeeJ Chapter 10951, Special Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of tho state of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Oooec now exeroises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands within its munioipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Chartor of the City of Ocooo.
Section 4. This Ordinanoe shall become effectivo immediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinanoes and parts of Ordinances in conflict horevnth
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions as are not doclared to be invalid shall remain in full
foroo and effect.
