V';> -'........-- ~ AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, TO ANNEX A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCoRPORATED LA~ID LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE bUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF Tfm CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COm~TY I<'LORIDA, TO-WIT: LJt 21, Block !IBt! of Esther Heights, according to plat the._~eof x'ecorQeo_ in Plat Boo1: "011, Page 95, Public Hecol'ds of Orange Count-;y, l"lcl"'ida. tJlmREAS, tho above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and viHE3EAS, said tract of land contains loss than ten (10) registered voters, and WHEREAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits Of the City of Ocoee, and 'wJHEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said lend to its preseni~ municipal boundaries in accordance \'lith the provisions therefor in Sec- tion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Act$, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now the1l'8- fore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Cll'Y COUNCIL OJ.' THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. The City of Ocoae hereby declapes its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the muni- cipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present mUllicipal boundaries, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial linlits and to exercise full pewer and authority over said land in ac- cordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of tho State of l<'lorida, said land being more particularly described as follovJs: Lot 21, Block HBll of Esthel' HeiGhts, accol>ding to plat tb.ereof recorded in Plat Book 110", Page 95, Public Itecords of Orange CO"LJ..n-cy, Plorida. Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing thirty (30) days from the effective. date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land described in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Ocooe, and ordaining that tho territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be extended to include the said land as described herein, and ordaining that from and after the effective date of said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full power and authority ovel' said land in accordance t-lith the ChaI'ter of the Cit'J o~ Ocooo, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for b: law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming a lalor. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewi t~ are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such p.jl"tion as are not docla:red to be invalid shall remain in full fOJ::ce and effect.
